CULTURAL EDUCATION & TRAINING SERVICES
At TFACTS we are committed to providing tailored Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander / First Nations Cultural Competence Training. Our sessions are interactive, engaging and provide a culturally safe learning space for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our cultural competence sessions will take you on a cultural journey in which you will emerge with a deeper understanding and respect of our First Nations people.
Tarina has dedicated her career to developing and facilitating cultural education and competency, by providing organisations with the knowledge and understanding to build on their capability to work more effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Given Tarina’s experience in the field of justice and Aboriginal health, TFACTS also provides training in specific areas such as case managing Aboriginal people, social and emotional well-being and intergenerational trauma.
We can deliver both face-to-face and online cultural competence sessions, ranging from 3.5 hours, half-day, 5-hours, to a full-day program.
TFACTS are happy to work with your organisation to provide the flexibility to conduct online sessions via Zoom. These sessions can be facilitated in blocks or in module format. For example, a 4.5-hour online session can be facilitated in a three-module format (3 x 90 minute sessions) held over three consecutive days.
We provide flexible delivery methods and would be happy to discuss your individual training needs.
